A while ago, I encountered a creature
With whiskers and fur, black color
Among others that made up its features
I told my mother in fantastic haste
I was allergic, I was allergic
Her house was invaded with feline taste
If I was to visit Nashville again
The cat could stay, but Mom
From your infected house, you’re banned
Go live somewhere else, where
The cat dander has not roamed
My breathing is troubled by their hair
But, yet, however, I do like cats
I don’t hang around too long
‘Cause they give me allergic spats
Amber, my mom’s pet, is probably
Wonderful and special and all
But when I’m around, I get wobbly
